1. Current Site and Information Handling
Music Business Hub (musicbusinesshub.com) is currently a static educational website. No account is required to read the guides or use the browser-based calculators, deal simulator, release pipeline, search, or split-sheet tool.
The site application does not currently load Google Analytics. It does load the Google AdSense publisher script configured for Music Business Hub; whether ads are displayed depends on Google's account review, ad settings, and the presence of ad units or Auto ads. Google may process request, device, cookie, local-storage, and advertising information under its own policies. Hosting, CDN, security, and network providers may also process routine request data under their own policies; this page describes the application behavior we control and does not make claims about third-party infrastructure logs.
If you contact us, the name, email address, and message you choose to send are delivered through your email client to contact@musicbusinesshub.com. We use that correspondence to respond, handle editorial corrections, and protect the site's operation. We do not sell contact inquiries for behavioral advertising.
2. Browser Storage and Contact Form
Interactive features such as the Songwriter Split Sheet Generator, Release Pipeline Workspace, My Artist Journey, and Recent Search History store the inputs or preferences needed for those features in your browser's localStorage. This application code does not upload that browser storage to a Music Business Hub server. Clearing the site's stored data in your browser removes it from that device.
The contact page uses a mailto: form rather than a server-side submission endpoint. Your email provider may retain the message and its metadata according to that provider's policy. Do not include sensitive personal, financial, or unreleased-business information unless you are comfortable sending it by email.
3. Advertising and Analytics Status
The Google AdSense publisher script is configured, and the site's seller record is published at /ads.txt. The script alone does not guarantee that ads are displayed; Google account approval, ad configuration, consent signals, and page placement still control delivery. This policy distinguishes the configured publisher script from ads that may actually appear on a given page.
Before ads are served or settings change:
- The privacy policy will be updated when Google AdSense settings, Google Analytics, or another third-party measurement or advertising service changes.
- The deployment will identify the actual vendors, cookies or similar technologies, data uses, and available choices rather than relying on a generic disclosure.
- Before personalized ads are served to visitors in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, the deployment must use the required Google-certified consent-management configuration integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.

4. Requests and Browser Data
Privacy rights depend on where you live and on what data a service actually processes. You may contact us to ask about, correct, or delete correspondence that we control. We will review requests in light of applicable law and our ability to verify the request.
Browser-only tool data is not available to us to retrieve or delete because the current application does not transmit it to our servers. You can remove it through your browser's site-data controls or the clear/reset controls provided by the relevant tool.
5. Policy Updates
This policy will be updated when the site's data practices change. The published version should be read together with the Terms of Service and Editorial Policy. The current website is educational and is not a substitute for legal advice about privacy compliance.
